Agave Syrup Peking Pork
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Agave Syrup
- 1 and a half tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 large teaspoon Viking salt
- Half a teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
Preparation
Dice the pork and marinade the dices for one hour. Drain and cook them in a frying pan with sesame oil. After two minutes, the dices will produce some humidity. Remove the dices from the pan and replace them by the marinade. Allow the marinade to reduce to ¾. Then add the pork dices and cook for 10 more minutes stirring all the way through. Five minutes before the pork is done, start cooking the Chinese cabbage in a wok with a dash of sesame oil. Add salt and a bit of soy sauce once it is done.
Tip: you may prepare the following dressing to serve with the pork:
- tomato concentrate
- soy sauce
- salt
- smoked paprika
in the proportions that suit you (depending if you like sweet and savory or not).
