In 1920, in an exceptional setting of rolling green hills at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, the history of a family passion spanning three generations began.
Yves Michaud, the founder of the company, was a passionate, creative man who devoted himself entirely to beekeeping and the production of honey.
Today, still nourished by this apicultural tradition, “Famille Michaud Apiculteurs” endeavours to produce honeys that are rare, characteristic and refined, and strives to become a real driving force in the development of beekeeping in France.
The marriage of tradition, rigour and a strategy of constant innovation have today earned it the position of market leader and a solid reputation as an expert in its field that is able to produce honey – a complex product and a pleasure-giving product in its own right – that meets all of its consumers’ expectations.
Today, the company, which is based in Gan in south-west France, has 158 employees.
